Some current facts:
More than 500 Shows ....
More than 500 registered users ...
And now with Cover Arts !!!
Only Front Covers at the moment though ... and it will take some time until I integrate all that I have ... See some of the 2000 shows for example
if at the moment there's no cover available an ad is displayed. Those ads are still needed to keep the site alive and still could work better. In fact they are not working out at all currently ...

The bad news is that there's currently only 20GB space left on the server ... hopefully that will be enough for the remaining shows ... otherwise I maybe reupload some shows with lower bitrate to free some space ... we'll see ...

it's been a while since my last post.
We currently have a bit more than 400 registered users.
You may have noticed that we had some problems in the last few days. Some new users seem to download all available shows in the least possible time. So the server is pretty busy.
It would be great if every one could reduce the downloading a bit so that I don't have to restart the server 10 times a day because it's hanging.

But thanks again to the people who donated or are contributing shows. I appreciate that pretty much ...

Just a short update: Only 10 days after we welcomed our 100th user we now have more than 150 users ( 157 at the moment to be exact)

after only being on for 6 weeks we already had our 100th registered user this week. That is quite more than I expected ...
Currently the site has an average traffic of around 12GB a day ... also more than I expected but quite alright though ...

I again want to say thank you to the one user who donated something through paypal. That will make it easier to pay the rent for the server in the next months ... it's by far not enough but I knew that I have to pay a lot by myself.

The ads could work a bit better to keep financing easier though ...


I added some 2006 shows today ... the remaining ones of 2006 and 2007 should be available in the next week

If someone has some pre 2000 shows that are not on the site already I would be glad to receive them through mail ...

just shortly cause many people already mailed me or made a forum post.

I know there's a problem with the download button for whole albums. It sometimes disappears when the album name is pretty long or you are running on small resolutions.

I'm still working on that ... but it may take some time cause mine's short currently

And in the next couple of days we gonna celebrate user no. 100 which is not that bad in only a month I think

Currently there's still a problem with viewing the Boots at low resolution monitors ( < 1280 ) . I'm still looking for a solution for that ...

Finally I did a long planned relaunch of this site and changed to a bigger server. When I'm finished, in the next couple of days every bootleg I personally have, will be online. The years 2000 til 2007 should be almost complete. I only left out the Gorge-Shows because the Box-Sets are still on sale and as far as I know those are not allowed to share.
The older ones (pre 2000) are by far not complete now.
You can stream every Bootleg or DOWNLOAD it as a Zip File. You First have to REGISTER to do so. That is simply to hopefully stop people from needless downloads and to save a bit of traffic.

The Shows are all in MP3 Format though. I know some people don't like this that much, but a collection of this size in FLAC or SHN format is almost impossible to host online.

I collected all these through a lot of years from different sources all over the web and of course from my own official Bootlegs. If there's any show whose originator does not like to have it here: Please drop me a mail and I will remove it immediately.
And if someone comes across a show which he knows of that the band (or management or someone) do not like it to be shared, please state that either.
I do not want to run into legal issues with this site.

Another thing which I'm not sure of is the handling of the cover artworks. I'd like to put them on as well cause the whole thing would look a bit nicer.
But I'm also not sure if it's leagal to publish the cover artworks from the official boots.
And what about those covers from for example the old theskyiscrape.com setlist archive?
Or those which where published within unofficial bootleg archives (Thinking of those from thearmyreserve.blogspot.com) ?
Maybe someone can put some clarity into this. Just send me a mail or start a forum thread.


One last word on the google-ads:
This is totally a non-profit site as meantioned earlier. But hosting such a big archive is not that cheap as one will think. So I put on the ads to just get the server financed a little bit. On the old server which was quite a lot cheaper the ads never brought in more than 10% of the costs.

Hopefully I don't have to take off the site as often as I did on the last server but when the traffic gets to big I, of course, will have to. If I exceed my traffic limits the costs are imnense ...
